The EFMC International Symposium on Advances in Synthetic and Medicinal Chemistry are organised by the European Federation for Medicinal chemistry and Chemical biology since 2004. The general concept of the meeting is to combine medicinal and organic synthetic chemistry, in order to facilitate building international contacts within academia, industry and start-up companies from around the world.

The commercial exhibition forms an integral part of the Symposium. It represents a unique opportunity for companies to present and promote their products and services to the scientists involved in Organic Synthesis and Medicinal Chemistry.
